Before bed each night, something is going on....We are either folding laundry, cleaning up the BIG mess of toys, doing baths, playing tickle monster or doing some other activity....like drawing (not a common one!)...We were so impressed with Tyler's picture, that I had to grab the camera!

Walking our Babies...
Back in March we went for a walk...Tyler, Kelsi and I....and a couple of our "babies". It all started when Kelsi wanted to take a walk and push her baby in a carriage. When Tyler heard we were going, he had to go to! Then he decided that Rexy needed a walk. I questioned him if he really wanted to choose Rexy, because he is so big, but he just had to have him and he promised to carry him the whole way! He kept true to his word for most of the walk...He carried him, placed him on his shoulders for a shoulder ride (hysterical!), and then swapped with Kelsi so that Rexy could have a ride in the stroller. We went for a good distance (Circular, right on Pleasant, right on Broadway, right on West and then right back on Circular!) and they loved it!
Jorja Visits...
Sometimes on Fridays Jorja and Uncle Jeff come for a visit while they wait for Auntie Sue to get home from work. These photos were from March when the kitchen/dining room were under construction...Jorja and Kelsi were running around and then back and forth in the dinig room being silly....They were having fun giggling together!
Tyler's Preschool Journal...
These are samples of Tyler's Journal's...Every morning at school, Tyler enters the classroom, does the morning routine of checking in, putting away his coat and backpack, etc, and then sits down to do his Journal. He has to draw a picture and then describe to his teacher what he has drawn so that they can write the words. Tyler's teacher mentioned these journals at our first conference...she said that she was impressed with his attention to detail and his ability to describe what is in his pictures. Douglas and I both loved the one that is below...I am amazed at the detail in the windows, because we don't have that type, yet it is so stereotypical of a house! Kelsi does a journal in her class also, but her teacher is waiting to send it home at the end of the year...Kelsi reminds us of that all the time! Douglas used to say, "Tomorrow is the last day"...and she would say, "Oooh! That means I am bringing home my journal!"....Douglas meant the last day of the school week....not the whole year!! He stopped saying that recently!!
St. Patrick's Day in Review...
St. Patrick's Day was almost two months ago and I am finally getting these pictures up now!! It was actually a beautiful March Day this year and we celebrated with some playing outside and these festive cupcakes (from the Enterman's Outlet that I had just started going to again!). We had gone out the night before for corned beef and cabbage at Fitzy's Pub, but I was the only one who ended up getting it!!
Kelsi's Imagination...
Kelsi has a great imagination...She plays and talks a lot lately. Kelsi's loves to play and pretend "real-life" scenarios. She plays store, restaurant, school, and grocery shopping. She is a "mommy" everyday and will refer to what her kids need and want. She is naming them now, and comes up with all different names everyday! The other day when Kelsi was talking to her babies she said, "How many times do I have to tell you?". I clearly must say that way too much!
In the pictures below, she was my waitress and was taking my order....I love what she has written!

Silly fun...
Just an ordinary afternoon in our house last month...We usually head to the YMCA after I pick them up from school...They head to child watch, while I work out and then on Tuesdays (now Mondays!), we do our swim lessons after that! When we get home in the early afternoon, they spend a chunk of time playing together....Sometimes they play "Disney", recently they play store. They COMPLETELY destroy their rooms while they create these play scenes. Disney has a ton of kids and rides. Kelsi is always taking care of her "kids" while Tyler is directing where they are going next...to a ride or to a restaurant, etc.
I let them play until I hear screaming and crying...that is when I know that they need their "rest time" in their own rooms and a break from each other!
On this day, they started chasing each other and wrestling downstairs. It turned into tickling, and I quickly grabbed my camera for my picture of the day. I wish that I had Tyler in better focus in this first picture, because they are both so genuinely happy!!

My Trip to Indianapolis...
On April 10th, my friend Sarah and I took off for Indianapolis at 8:20pm out of Boston. Our original flight was set to take off at 2pm out of Providence, but after a delay, they sent us by taxi to Boston to get a 7pm flight to Indi...That 7pm flight also got delayed, but we finally made it to Indi around mid-night after the scariest flight of my life (TINY plane)....
We were headed to Indiana for a photography workshop with one of our favorite photographer teams...Bobbi + Mike. Bobbi is right there in the middle of me and Sarah!
The workshop was for 2.5 days and covered everything from actual shooting time, to business practices, to editing. It was fantastic to see all of the inner workings to an established photo team.
When I left the workshop 2.5 days later, I had come to realization that I need to have more confidence in myself...I wanted to see how they do things, to see if there is a way that I can do it better myself and although I walked away with a lot of tricks and somethings that I want to tweak, I am now confident that what I do works...I am on the right path!
This is our whole group...including Bobbi and Mike (there on the bottom left) and the engaged couple that they photographed.
Overall, it was a great experience...I saw a new city, met a couple that I had idolized, learned a bunch and came home with a new sense of confidence :)
I just love them...
I just love them...that is what I think, everytime that I peek at this picture! Douglas took them to swim lessons today and snapped this picture with his cell-phone camera. I absolutely love it!! They are so happy, lovable and adorable! They are always so excited for swim lessons and this shows it!
