Thanksgiving North Attleboro Parade...

Every year we head to the North Attleboro Parade the Sunday after Thanksgiving. In the past we have gone with the Marders and Jeff and Sue joined us last year, but this year we went alone! The parade takes place just around the corner from our house, so we can walk over to it! It is a good 30+ minutes and tons of candy is thrown at us....This year, we filled up two lunch bags to the top! It has gotten to the point that Tyler and Kelsi know how to get the candy....They smile and wave and repeatedly yell "Hi"! I actually have to get them to lay off on the yelling...they are SO anxious to have everyone throw them more candy!

Santa is the caboose of the parade...

Shoulder rides home were requested...Everyone's legs were "SO tired"....

Our house...

This year Douglas was motivated with our outside decor! He worked on it during the weekend after Thanksgiving. The kids were so excited to go outside and see Dada reveal the display!  The only thing missing from the picture is our blow up Santa! Dada finally found it on December 6th and got that up and out there too! He is a big hit with the kids!

My little painter...

Kelsi is just about to be 3 years and 5 months old and she is settling down a little bit...Well, it could just be my wishful thinking because she is still OH-SO active, but she is STARTING to be able to do some projects!!

Painting is her favorite art project....she isn't a big crayon girl (that lasts for about 45 seconds), but she is always asking to paint! Usually she makes a big picture with a ton of paint all mixed together but on this day, she was working on her first picture and she was following our directions to make her painting look like the picture on the package! We kept having to take breaks to let it dry before moving on to the next color and that wasn't going over well with her. She was asking to paint again every 5 minutes for the whole day!

Pete has arrived!!

Pete arrived the morning after Thanksgiving, and Kelsi was the first one to notice him! He was sitting on top of the microwave, and she looked up and said, "Who is that little red man?"....Tyler looked up and yelled Pete!  Since that day, Tyler has found him first on all but this day that is pictured below...Pete had hid himself so well that noone could find him! After a couple trips around the house, it was Kelsi that excitedly pointed at him!!

Pete brings a lot of excitement at our house!
